THE NOSE KNOWS

Maison De Bougies- House of Candles  was born on a girls trip.  My longest and dearest friend asked me if I might try my hand at making some candles for her bath and beauty store.  I thought about it for a moment and said, "What do I have to lose!"  I have a science background and always loved chemistry so I thought it might be fun to "Play Science" again..... little did I know I was creating my own little monster!  Those first few batches of candles were pretty good, but the perfectionist me wasn't satisfied.... so lots of PDSA cycles later you see the products above. 

I tested my products with family, co-workers, and neighbors; requesting feedback looking on how to make improvements.  The thing that is most awesome is that everyone did give feedback, both positive and constructive to move me along on this journey.  The product you see today has come a long way from my first batch! A big THANK YOU to you all for nudging and pushing me along.

My passion for excellence has driven me from the beginning, and continues to drive me each day.
